:Dear Billinghurst, it is very hard for the community (and I do not count myself a member of community, more a self-nominated outside-assistent to Juandev) to make a decision, if the blocking of the IP and the obstacles made against Juandev is useful and rightful. There are users (Lenka64) who say the blocking is aimed personaly at Juandev who ''is'' the person who made all the bad things, while Juandev says he is just a victim of something. While your description strictly avoids naming any particular user, the discussion is thus difficult for the community and while some users can believe there is no evidence against Juandev, if they are not exactly presented, and they can evaluate only the profit of his public edits on Wikiversity, Lenka has already stated she will understand any lift of the block as making the Czech Wikiversity the first Wikimedia wiki that allows abusing proxies (which can make the community look very irresponsible, while the community itself has a limited chance to decide not being provided with precise information). In fact, if I was a valid member of the community, I wouldn't know how to decide myself. I ask you whether you can kindly provide the community with better and more precise knowledge related directly to Juandev to think one way or the another. :[krátké shrnutí pro ty, kteří by třeba nerozuměli anglicky]: Popisuji, že tu máme nejspíš dva názory, Lenky, že Juan za všechno může, a Juana, že nemůže za nic, a že komunita podle mne zatím nedostala jasnou odpověď na otázku, zda je Juandev skutečně viníkem. ::@[[User:Okina|Okina]] On the balance of probability I would have said that Juandev is behind the socks and the abuse. There is no evidence that there is another member of your community at the IP who would undertake that sort of negative abusive activity. This is not random spambot activity, this is targeted and specific abuse where the person thought that they could do it unidentified by hiding behind external IP addresses.<p>[To note that I have seen other members of the broader CS community also undertaking negative abusive editing through the wikis, and the behaviour by a number of people is less than exemplary]. To me it is time for all involved to 1) listen attentively to the community's disquiet about all of this behaviour; 2) there be the admissions of wrongdoing, stop the wrongdoing, and thereupon apologise sincerely; then 3) for the community to forgive generously, know what you are trying to achieve, and get on and do the work.
